Kids of all ages will love visiting with the different sea creatures at the Seas with Nemo and Friends Pavilion. There are numerous sea creatures to look at.

However, I guarantee your family will love the manatees and dolphins the most. Make sure you take the time to do the scavenger hunt to learn all about marine life.

Spaceship Earth – A Favorite Attraction at Epcot

A ride on Spaceship Earth will have your family learning the history of communication. Throughout the ride, your family will experience man landing on the moon, the Renaissance, the burning of Rome, and the invention of the very first computer.

The kids will really love that last one, since computers look much different nowadays!

Living with the Land

An attraction called Living with the Land can be found over in the Future World of Epcot. This learning attraction at Epcot was designed to show how important preservation and conservation really is.

Impressions de France

Impressions de France is one of the many learning attractions within the World Showcase at Epcot. This specific attraction is inside Palais du Cinema. It is an eighteen-minute movie that shares the different destinations around France.

Once you have finished watching the movie, you will want to explore all the other countries within the World Showcase. Eating and drinking are the two most popular activities in this section of Epcot.

Soarin’ Around the World

One of the most popular learning attractions at Epcot is Soarin’ Around the World. Your family can take a hang-gliding ride over some incredible locations around the world.

This is one attraction at Epcot you may do with your family multiple times. You will notice something new every time.

What You Need to Know Before Visiting Attractions at Epcot

Now that you know the best learning attractions at Epcot, you may be wondering if there is anything else you should know before you visit this Disney Park. There are a couple things you should know prior to your trip. Knowing this information will make your family vacation even more enjoyable.

Understand How the Lightning Lane Selections Work

The Lightning Lane Passes have changed once again at Disney World theme parks. This includes Epcot. You can now choose a Lightning Lane Multi Pass to enjoy multiple attractions during your family’s visit. Or you can choose a Lightning Lane Single Pass for those attractions not included in the Multi Pass.

With a Multi Pass, you can choose up to three attractions prior to your visit. You can purchase two Single Lane Passes for your visit each day.

Get Familiar with the Four Neighborhoods – They Will Each Hold a Favorite Attraction at Epcot

If you haven’t checked out the map of Epcot yet, you may want to do that prior to your family vacation. This ensures you know how the four neighborhoods are set up and where your favorite attractions are located.

To get you started, the four neighborhoods include:

• World Showcase
• World Celebration
• World Nature
• World Discovery

Download My Disney Experience for Mobile Ordering

You will be using the My Disney Experience app quite often during your Epcot vacation. Most of the quick-service restaurants will want you to place a mobile order for pick-up.

I recommend downloading this app before getting on the plane to go on your Disney vacation.

Consider Your Vacation Time Around the Different Festivals

Epcot is notorious for holding festivals throughout the year. If one festival interests your family more than all the others, I recommend planning your family vacation for the time that festival is held.

The current festival schedule is as follows:

• Festival of Arts – January through February
• Flower and Garden Festival – March through July
• International Food and Wine Festival – July through November
• Festival of Holidays – late November through December

Take a Leisurely Stroll After the Fireworks

Most people will rush right out of the park as soon as the fireworks are over. However, there is nothing wrong with taking a leisurely stroll towards the exit. I recommend doing a little late-night souvenir shopping since the stores won’t be crowded.

These are the best learning attractions, plus what you need to know about Epcot. Your family will love the ambiance that is found throughout this Disney Park. I guarantee you will make multiple memories with your family, no matter how old your kids are.

New Epic Adventures at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival 

Brew-Wing Lab at Odyssey 

Have you ever wanted to do a few experiments with The Muppets? Well, you can when you head over to the Brew-Wing Lab at Odyssey.  

There you can join Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, as well as his assistant, Beaker, in the Muppet Labs. They spend their days creating beverages and scientific snacks. While you won’t be able to do the actual creating, your family can offer to be taste-testers.  

Just think about how you will feel sampling concoctions that include a Pickle Milkshake and the Unnecessarily Spicy Yet Extremely Tasty Scotch Bonnet Pepper-Curry Wings. Maybe the kids won’t be such picky eaters after this new epic adventure!  

Additional Global Marketplaces 

This year, your family will find more than twenty-five Global Marketplaces for your dining pleasure. Old favorites like the Fry Basket and Flavors from Fire will be returning.  

However, there are plenty of new Global Marketplaces to check out. And this fall, four more will be added to commemorate the Disney 100 celebration.  

The new Global Marketplaces will include Swirled Showcase, Bubbles and Brine, Wine and Wedge, and Char and Chop.  

Such deliciousness all in one place for your dining needs!  

New Merchandise for Souvenirs 

You can’t spend time at any of the Disney parks and not take home a souvenir or two! And this year, you will find new souvenirs to choose from at the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.  

Some of the new options include a track jacket, mini backpack, and stemless wine glass. Okay, yes, that last one should be on every mom’s list to buy!  

New Live Entertainment 

You may need a break at some point during your visit to EPCOT for this festival. That’s okay, because they have you covered! Simply head over to listen to live music during one of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series sessions.  

You must reserve your spot in advance for these performances. I can help you do just that, as I am personalizing your family vacation itinerary. All you need to do is let me know you want to attend a performance and I will take care of the rest.  

These are some of the new epic adventures you will find when you attend the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival with your family. Tips for Epcot’s World Showcase Dining 

Start Your Dining at Epcot Early 

It shouldn’t be surprising that your family will eat a lot of food while on vacation at Epcot. Especially when you focus on the foods at Epcot World Showcase.  

So, start your eating adventures early in the day. This will ensure you don’t have kids or parents with hurting bellies before it is even noon.  

Trust me; you will want to follow this tip. It is the only way you can eat your way through the countries in a safe way.  

Plan Your Walking Routes 

There is so much to see and do while on vacation at Epcot. It is simple to become distracted and go off course. However, doing so will ensure you need to backtrack to see what you missed.  

I recommend choosing one side of the World Showcase. Then go from pavilion to pavilion until you have eventually seen them all.  You can even break up your day by visiting a few of the learning attractions at Epcot in between pavilions. 

Grab the Passports 

Picking up passports for the entire family is an easy way to make sure you don’t miss anything when dining at Epcot World Showcase. You can easily get your passports stamped at each pavilion. There is even space to write down the different foods you tried. And what you thought of those foods. 

Try the New Dishes

Your family may not be willing to try every single food they see while dining at Epcot. However, you should all be willing to try as many new dishes as possible.  

If you are really struggling with determining what to try, ask a Cast Member. They know what the most popular dishes are and will share what the best-tasting dishes are.  

Don’t Rush 

You will be tempted to rush from pavilion to pavilion to make sure you see them all during your vacation at Epcot. I recommend trying to take your time and spend a specific amount of time at each one.  

Take the time to watch the shows and entertainment. Talk to the Cast Members. Eat some of the food. Basically, just relish every moment and enjoy the time you are spending with your family.  

Share the Food with Family Members 

It is really easy to overindulge when you are dining at Epcot World Showcase. One of the best ways to avoid eating too much is to share the dishes with everyone in your family. You can always go back for more if you really like a dish.  

Don’t Consider Table Service 

Yes, sitting down to enjoy a meal is nice after hours of walking. However, if you are eating at every single pavilion, you shouldn’t sit down to a full meal.  

Dining in Epcot World Showcase is definitely an experience. Hopefully, you will utilize these tips for Epcot’s World Showcase dining during your next family vacation there.
